Job Title: Programmer Analyst
Job Description:
Analyze business and other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. Analyze the needs of the user/business providing technical support for the Information Systems department, such as coding, designing, implementing and debugging programs. Analyzes end users data needs and develops user oriented solutions which interface with existing applications. Designs systems, programs and coordinates the review of specification, user sign-off process, and the development of user manuals. Coordinates all aspects of implementation and training to support new programs/systems. Provides input to Business Analyst(s) to prolong system life or to recommend timely replacement. Recommends improved operational procedures to maximize systems efficiency; provides guidance to solving complex operations malfunctions and performs telecommunications troubleshooting. Ensures system integrity, assists in installation of technological upgrades. Test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
Requirements:
BS in engineering or equivalent or related field plus 2 years experience as programmer analyst or related plus 2 years simultaneous/concurrent experience with C, C++ and Pascal.

Job Description:
Manage backup, security and user help systems. Consult with users, management, and technicians to assess & analyze computing needs and system requirements, architect, plan and deliver software applications. Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines. Assign and review the work of systems analysts, programmers, and others. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems and prepare detailed specifications for computer design, project plan, coding, testing and documentation. Responsible for all phases of project including advising, directing and providing technical leadership on complex projects. Also act as expert in business or functional area and have quality assurance responsibilities for team. Evaluate the organization’s technology use and needs and recommend improvements, such as hardware and software upgrades. Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.
Requirements:

Analyze, design and develop software applications in a client/server environment using
Oracle Data warehousing and Oracle programming knowledge; specific projects will include
design and implementation of Data Marts based on DSS requirements, provide logical and
physical Data Modeling, Data validations/cleasing, and disaster recovery planning;
additional requirements may include SQL*PLUS, PL/SQL, SQL*Loader, Informatica Powermart,
Business Objects and Brio; will devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems and
prepare detailed specifications for programs design, coding, testing and documentation;
will have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and
programming; will be responsible for multiple phases of a project and have duties
advising, directing and cross-referencing the work of other programming personnel; will
act independently under general direction and provide technical leadership on complex

Accrual of Vacation/Sick Time Certain classifications of employees may accrue up to five days of paid vacation per year
during their first two years of service. At two years of service or above, there is an
accrual of up to ten vacation days. Employees may accrue up to a total 20 vacation days.
All employees are also eligible to accrue up to five paid sick days per year.
Referral Bonus
Certain classifications of technical employees may earn a bonus for the referral of a new
employee who completes 90 days of service. We also pay a referral bonus to certain
classifications of technical employees who inform Goldstone of an opening with a new
client. Under the technical employee classification, Goldstone will also pay bonus for an
opening at an existing client, upon successful placement in a three-month plus project.
Educational Assistance
During the first two years of service, interest free loans may be made available for the
cost of additional education in the areas of Goldstone's business. For employees with more
than two years of service, up to $1,000 may be made available to help pay for costs of
additional education in areas Goldstone does business. We may also reimburse pre-approved
software and technical books and materials purchases up to a certain limit per year.

We go out of our way to process permanent residency applications for eligible employees
